  • A morning check-in

Margaret, her garden, and her blood pressure pill.

    Read along
    • RoseGood morning, Margaret! It's Rose, calling for your morning check-in. How did you sleep?
    • MargaretOh, not too bad, dear. I was up early. The birds were making a racket.
    • RoseThey do love the mornings. Did you get out to the garden yesterday?
    • MargaretI did! The tomatoes are finally turning red. I'll have more than I know what to do with.
    • RoseThat sounds wonderful. Before I forget, have you taken your blood pressure pill this morning?
    • MargaretYes, with my toast, like always.
    • RosePerfect. Is there anything you'd like me to pass on to Sarah?
    • MargaretTell her to come by on Sunday, and to bring a bag for the tomatoes.
    • RoseI'll let her know. Enjoy the sunshine today, Margaret. I'll call you again on Thursday.
  • A dad of few words

Frank, the hockey score, and a nudge to go for a walk.

    Read along
    • RoseHi Frank, it's Rose. How are you doing this afternoon?
    • FrankFine. Same as always.
    • RoseDid you catch the Leafs game last night?
    • FrankI did. They let in two in the third period. Typical.
    • RoseOh no. Still, they're off to a good start this season. Did you manage your walk today?
    • FrankNot yet. Bit cold out.
    • RoseEven ten minutes around the block would be good. Maybe after lunch, when it warms up?
    • FrankYeah, alright. After lunch.
    • RoseLovely. Anything you'd like me to tell Mike?
    • FrankTell him to call me about the snow tires.
    • RoseWill do. Take care, Frank. Talk to you tomorrow.
  • A call that worried her

Joan mentions a suspicious caller. The family is told at once.

    Read along
    • RoseHello Joan, it's Rose. How has your week been?
    • JoanOh, a bit of a strange one, actually. A man called yesterday. He said my grandson was in trouble and needed money right away.
    • RoseI'm glad you told me, Joan. Did he ask you to send anything, like gift cards or a transfer?
    • JoanHe wanted gift cards. I haven't bought them yet.
    • RosePlease don't send anything. That's a trick scammers use, and your grandson is fine. I'm letting your family know right now, so someone can call you today.
    • JoanOh, thank goodness. I was so worried.
    • RoseYou did exactly the right thing by mentioning it. Now, tell me, how's your knitting coming along?

How it works

You set the schedule. We make the calls.

  1. Tell us about your loved one

Their name, phone number and where they live, so their number is local and calling it back is never long distance.

  2. Pick the times

Up to three calls a day between 8 am and 6 pm, on the days you choose. Pause for a holiday whenever you like.

  3. They get a call

A relaxed chat and the reminders you’ve added. If they don’t answer, we try again, then let the family know.

  4. You get a note

How they sounded, what they said about their medicines, and anything they asked us to pass on.

ExampleTue, 9:41 am

Margaret’s 9:30 check-in

  • In good spirits; slept well and spent yesterday in the garden.
  • Blood pressure pill: taken
  • Message for Sarah: “The tomatoes are coming in!”

Next call: Thursday at 9:30.

After every call

Know how they’re doing, without the worry.

A short note to the family after each call. And if your loved one mentions an emergency or something that sounds like a scam, the family is told straight away.

For the family

Made for real families.

  • Two loved onesOne call for both on a shared phone, or a private call each.
  • Two homesLoved ones living apart each get their own schedule, on one account.
  • Their own lineA local number they can call any time to chat or leave you a message.
  • The whole familyInvite brothers, sisters and a backup contact to follow along.

Privacy & consent

Your loved one stays in charge.

Plain promises, enforced in software, not left to the AI’s good behaviour.

  • Their choice. If your loved one says they don’t want the calls, the calls stop.
  • Only to them. Reminders and family news are shared only on a call to your loved one’s own number, or when they call in with their PIN.
  • Strangers get nothing. Anyone else who calls the line can only leave a message for the family.
  • Nothing shared. Calls aren’t sold, pooled, or used to train anyone’s models.

Questions

What families ask us first

Will my loved one know it’s an AI?

Yes. It sounds natural, but we never pretend it’s a person, and it says so on the first call.

What if they don’t answer?

We try again a little later. If the calls still go unanswered, the family is told so someone can check in.

Can it replace a visit or a nurse?

No. It’s a friendly check-in and a reminder, not medical care or an emergency service. In an emergency, your loved one should call 911.

Can my loved one call it?

Yes, any time, on their own local number: for a chat, or to leave a message for the family.

How is it priced?

By the month, for each home, with the calls a week you need. We set every family up on a short call.
