Larkella

Larkchat · a chat box for your website

Answers on your website, day and night. A person one tap away.

Your assistant answers visitors from your own website and documents, in a chat box you add with one line. When a visitor needs a person, your team answers from WhatsApp or Telegram, and the assistant stays on their side, whispering suggestions only they see.

  • One line to install
  • Your team on WhatsApp or Telegram
  • No phone line needed

How it works

Three steps, then it just runs.

1. Tell it about you

Add your website's address. Your assistant reads your pages (and any documents you upload) and answers from them. Give it a name and a few words about how you like to talk to customers.

2. Paste one line

Copy the one line from your account into your site, your footer or your tag manager. The chat box appears bottom-right, on the websites you listed and nowhere else.

3. Link your phone

You and your staff link Telegram or WhatsApp with a one-time code and say when you're there. Visitors who need a person reach you right in that app.

When a person is needed

The assistant doesn't leave. It takes your side.

Most website chats hand you over to a person and vanish. Larkchat brings a person in and keeps the assistant working for them, on a second channel the visitor can never read.

What the visitor sees

The assistant says a person is on the way and keeps helping until they join. Then your colleague's words, under the name you chose for them. Never an email address, never what the assistant is telling your team.

What your colleague sees

The visitor's words, quoted. The assistant's suggested reply for each one, which they can send as their own with one command, edit, or ignore. And the answer to anything they ask it themselves: a policy, a price on your site, what was said earlier.

Nobody there right now?

The assistant says so honestly, instead of promising someone who isn't coming. It takes the visitor's name and the best way to reach them, and your team calls or writes back from your own phone or email.

Decided by code, not by the chatbot

Whether anyone is available, who gets the chat, and how long a visitor waits are rules in software. The assistant can ask for a person; it can't promise one.

For your team

Answer from the app you already have open.

No new app, no desk to sit at. Each person links their own phone and tells the assistant when they're on.

  • Telegram or WhatsApp. A waiting chat arrives as a message; /take and you're in. What you type goes to the visitor.
  • The whisper. The assistant's suggestions arrive marked Only you see this. /send posts one as yours; /ask asks it anything, privately.
  • Several at once, never mixed up. With more than one chat open, each message names its chat; a reply can't land in the wrong one.
  • The web page too. Owners and anyone at a desk see every chat in the account, with the visitor's side and the whisper side by side.
  • Works with the receptionist. Have the Larkella receptionist too? Same account, same knowledge, same bill. Larkchat also works on its own, with no phone line.

Guardrails

Rules in software, not promises in a prompt.

Only on your websites

The chat box opens on the website addresses you listed and nowhere else; the browser enforces it. Visitors are rate-limited, and you can block an address for a day with one tap.

Two streams, kept apart

What the visitor sees and what your team sees are separate records with separate permissions. The only way a whisper reaches a visitor is a person choosing to send it, and that is recorded.

Visitors' words are data

Whatever a visitor types is handled as text to answer, never as instructions to the assistant, and reaches your team quoted. The assistant can search your knowledge and ask for a person; it has no other powers.

Your records, your rules

Each client runs on its own private Larkella. You choose how long chat records are kept, and a daily limit on the assistant's replies that you set yourself.

Questions

What owners ask us first

Will visitors know it's an AI?

Yes, whenever they ask, and you can have it say so in its first message. When a person joins, the visitor sees that too.

Does it talk, or only write?

Larkchat is text. Voice on your website is coming later as an option; today, a visitor who wants to talk leaves their number and your team calls them back.

Do I need a phone line with Larkella?

No. Larkchat works on its own. If you also have the Larkella receptionist, they share one account and one set of knowledge.

What does it answer from?

Your website's pages and the documents you upload. When they don't say, it says so and offers to take a message rather than guess a price or a policy.

What if nobody on my team is available?

The assistant says so plainly, takes the visitor's name and the best way to reach them, and tells your team. Nobody is promised a time.

Can my staff see each other's chats?

Everyone you give Larkchat to can see the account's chats on the web page. Only the person in a chat can write to that visitor, and only you can give or take away access.

How is it priced?

A flat monthly fee, quoted after a short call. No per-message charges; you set the assistant's daily limit yourself.
